  • Upstream oil and gas revenue accounting, JIB, AP, and/or accounting operations experience required
  • Work with clients, developers and software designers in troubleshooting new and existing software programs and applications specific to upstream oil and gas accounting needs
  • Communicate with support personnel, developers and IT to assist in resolving issues with software applications
  • Define, develop, and document application’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project by project basis in collaboration with internal users and external clients
  • Define project plans, including scope, schedule, and implementation
  • Test on new and existing programs for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging
  • Provide verbal and written project status reports
  • Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines
  • Train accounting end users to operate new or modified programs
  • Research emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field OR equivalent education/work experience
  • 2-5 years of experience as a system’s analyst integration work, or equivalent experience working for an oil and gas company OR 2-5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in the revenue, cost, joint interest billing, and/or financial areas
  • Upstream Oil and Gas industry experience highly desired 
  • Experience with report writing and business intelligence tools (ie: SSRS, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Analysis Services, etc.) is highly desired but not mandatory
  • Previous experience with upstream oil and gas accountingsoftware
  • Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans
  • Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products
  • Ability to present complex  technical information to a non-technical audience



  • Responsible for writing data extraction, transformation and data cleansing scripts from legacy applications to be converted and loaded into the Enertia Microsoft SQL database
  • Responsible for creating data dictionaries and data mapping for data conversion
  • Recommend and perform software improvements and upgrades
  • Assist in data validation and conversion
  • Will handle mergers & acquisition work as the client needs to convert new assets into Enertia databases
  • Will be responsible for converting and moving large quantities of data from legacy applications to new applications, preferably in Upstream Oil & Gas organizations
  • Develop and maintain Access applications that load data into SQL Server
  • Research and propose alternative tools and processes to load data into SQL Server
  • Will be responsible for tasks for multiple projects occurring simultaneously

Job Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience  writing complex SQL queries and stored procedure preferably related to Software Integration and Data Conversion projects
  • Experience working with large SQL database – 1,500 + tables and tables containing over 1 million records
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Able to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Able to organize and prioritize project tasks



  • Experience with .NET web, windows and service development.
  • Able to identify, duplicate, and eventually fixing code related issues.
  • Work with support personnel, developers and software designers in designing, developing, and troubleshooting new and existing software programs and applications.
  • Communicate with support personnel, developers and IT to assist in resolving issues with software applications.
  • Define, develop, and document application’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications on a project by project basis in collaboration with internal users and external clients.

  • Work with clients and support team to manage new client implementation
  • Developement and cosulting efforts for projects initiated by client

Job Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of work experience, preferably in Upstream Oil & Gas industry
  • 2 or more years of experience in all phases of System conversion projects is preferred
  • Experience in all facets of Client Management is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience communicating at all levels of the organizational structure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Able to present complex technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Essential understanding of the values of customer service and demonstrated dedication to the client
  • Experience identifying client needs and coordinating teams to address with creative and practical solutions
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team with both local and remote colleagues
  • Experience managing and prioritizing multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
